Talascend is currently seeking a Mobile Quality Issue Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas.

Overview

The role involves collecting and analyzing data from various sources to provide business intelligence support, addressing mobile quality issues, and providing technical support for client carriers' marketing and engineering personnel.

Responsibilities

  • Collect and analyze data from various sources to provide business intelligence support and deliver reports.
  • Analyze performance of process activities, identify problem areas, and present findings.
  • Tackle mobile quality issues from various streams including data from Carrier, VOC, Supply Chain, Customer Care, B2B and Network Performance.
  • Provide technical support for the client carriers' marketing and engineering personnel on issues reported from the market.
  • Manage master data, including creation, updates, and deletion.
  • Track, collect and analyze network KPI and other quality data in case of major issues.
  • Perform stationary and field tests of issue reproduction.
  • Communicate with internal R&D, carriers, and customers regarding reported market issues.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably in Data science, Electrical, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent level of work experience
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience in wireless industry preferred in Mobile QA or Mobile testing
  • Proven experience as a Data Analyst or in a similar role.
  • Strong knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques.
  • Process certification, such as Six Sigma, CBPP, BPM, ISO 20000, ITIL, CMMI.
  • Excellent written, presentation, and verbal communication skills.
  • Familiar with LTE and IMS/VoLTE Protocol.
  • Knowledge of Android infrastructure.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to extract actionable insights from complex datasets.
  • Experience with statistical modeling, machine learning, or predictive analytics is a plus.
  • Ability to perform root cause analysis, decision analysis and establish process mapping is a plus.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills.
  • Team player.
  • Good time-management skills.
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills.
