IT Systems Leadership Manager
Talascend is currently seeking an IT Systems Leadership Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Washington, District Of Columbia.
Overview
This role provides leadership for those involved in the development, design, and optimization of IT and systems functions supporting business processes and technical information system platforms.
Responsibilities
- Analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems
- Application software installation of network hardware/software and database management
- Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools, and information systems
- Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility
- Provides measurable input to new products, processes, or standards in operational plans to implement organizational strategies
- Manages a small to mid-sized team consisting of experienced professionals
- Leads, directs, and reviews the work of team members
Qualifications
- Typically requires a BA/BS or equivalent experience and 5+ years of prior relevant experience
- Masters with 3+ years of prior relevant experience
- Generally, has 2+ years of experience supervising or leading teams or projects
Requirements
- Requires practical knowledge in leading and managing the execution of processes, projects, and tactics within one area
- Typically has advanced knowledge and skills within a specific technical or professional discipline
- Requires ability to influence others outside of own project/family area on policies, practices, and procedures
