Sr Production Scheduler/Material Planner
Talascend is currently seeking a Sr Production Scheduler/Material Planner for a contract opportunity with our client in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.
Overview
The position focuses on materials planning and inventory control using SAP within a manufacturing environment. You will lead project teams, ensure materials availability, maintain inventory levels, and collaborate across multiple functions to support production flow.
Responsibilities
- Lead team to meet performance metrics
- Manage end-to-end materials operations
- Follow operating system and HSE procedures
- Resolve material-related issues and supply gaps
- Coordinate with purchasing, production, and engineering
- Release production orders and maintain execution schedules
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Operations, Quality)
Qualifications
- Bachelors degree
- 1+ years of planning experience in a manufacturing environment
Requirements
- Strong SAP and real-world materials planning experience
- Expertise in MRP/ERP systems
- Knowledge of lean, Six Sigma, and problem-solving methodologies
- Project management experience
- Strong materials management background
- US Citizenship
