IT Help Desk Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for a W-2 contract opportunity with our client in Spring Branch, Texas.

On-site full time in Spring Branch, Texas
Overview
The IT Help Desk Technician's role is to support and maintain in-house computer systems, desktops, and peripherals.
Responsibilities
- Provide phone, remote and in-person technical support to all users
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and make corrections to computer and hardware problems, including software modifications as required
- Ensure compatible configurations of PC's and network workstations
- Process new user setups and on-boarding
- Issue new equipment and reassign existing equipment
- Keep current logs of asset changes and inventory
- Provide level 1 support to all printers and plotters
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of help desk or desk side support experience
- Advanced PC skills including operating system functionality, PC connections, assembly, and troubleshooting
- Working knowledge of Windows 10, Windows 11 and Microsoft Office 365
- Ability to lift and carry 20-40 pounds for extended periods
- Strong desire to learn new skills
- Team player
- Highly motivated and can work long periods of time without direct supervision
- Must be able to maintain strict confidentiality and be willing to sign a confidentiality/non-solicitation agreement
