Key Desk Clerk
Talascend is currently seeking a Key Desk Clerk for a contract opportunity with our client in Allen Park, Michigan.
Overview
The Key Desk Clerk will ensure proper key distribution and that drivers are assigned to designated vehicles. The Key Desk Clerk will ensure the drivers have the tools they need to perform their evaluations.
Responsibilities
- Provide customer service to drivers and engineers, answer questions, and retrieve keys for assigned vehicles.
- Prepare daily test driver tools (vehicle keys, phones, route information, evaluations and other needed equipment).
- Update customer systems daily with dispatched driver information and equipment assigned.
- Complete end of day update of customer systems with mileage information and test data.
- Complete customer system updates and company required reports.
- Other related tasks as assigned.
- Perform daily test vehicle key audit against vehicle list.
- Prepare test vehicles for return to customers removing all equipment and performing damage inspections.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of test driving experience.
- Preferred: 1 year of customer service experience.
Requirements
- Good driving record.
- Proficient MS Office skills including data entry accuracy.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
- Ability to work well independently and exercise sound judgement.
- Good attention to details with the ability to ensure accuracy.
Preferred Requirements
- Ability to work overtime as needed including weekends.
