Talascend is currently seeking an Assembly Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Rocky Mount, North Carolina.

Overview

Performs standard assembly and testing processes on a variety of equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Performs standard assembly and testing processes on a variety of equipment
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
  • Performs a variety of repetitive and non-repetitive tasks

Qualifications

  • Prefer 3-6 years of manufacturing experience in a related area

Requirements

  • Must be US Citizen Only
  • Must show relevant past experience on the résumé
  • Strong hands-on/mechanical background
  • Preferably automotive or aerospace experience
  • Must have computer skills
  • Great work ethic
  • Both technical and mechanical aptitude are required
  • Ideal backgrounds include: Automotive, Electrical, Plumbing, Construction, Machining, Aviation
  • Lifting may exceed 30 lbs.; significant repetitions expected
  • Work may involve exposure to substantial machine, chemical, biological, or other physical
