Conveyor Systems Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Conveyor Systems Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Warren, Michigan.
Overview
The Conveyor Systems Engineer supports conveyor projects of various sizes at multiple sites across the US, ensuring alignment with project requirements and client specifications. The role involves working on-site and possibly off-shift or holiday hours, with travel across the US involved.
Responsibilities
- Support conveyor projects at various sites, ensuring project alignment and execution.
- Engage with suppliers and project teams through meetings and collaboration.
- Assist with project management and communication across different levels of project participants.
- Participate in site visits and coordinate logistics for project needs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience with conveyor companies or suppliers, or automotive experience.
- Experience with conveyor technologies such as chain, skid, and skillet systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills across different project levels.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with automotive suppliers or in similar industries.
Shift
This position involves working 1st shift hours, typically from 7am to 3pm, with potential for flexible hours, off-shift work, and work on holidays depending on project needs.
