Rack Installer
Talascend is currently seeking a Rack Installer for a contract opportunity with our client in Findlay, Ohio.
Overview
This position involves installing racks and related components, working primarily on a daytime schedule with potential Saturday shifts. The role requires operating various tools and working at heights in a construction or warehouse environment.
Responsibilities
- Install uprights, beams, wire decking, B-decking, and plywood.
- Operate in a scissor lift up to 36 feet high.
- Wear harnesses when working at height.
- Use provided tools such as rubber mallet, impact gun, screw gun, and hammer drill to secure components and drill anchor holes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in rack installation or a related field.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Ability to work at heights and wear necessary PPE.
