Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Tempe, Arizona.

Overview

We are seeking experienced sourcing specialists with strong negotiation skills and a business-driven mindset to help achieve key KPIs. This role involves managing our global supply base, supporting transactional activities, ensuring compliance and data integrity, and collaborating on strategic sourcing initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Perform commodity management and supplier negotiations.
  • Draft, route for signature, and upload NDAs (Non-Disclosure Agreements).
  • Draft unilateral letters, novations, assignments, and assumptions in partnership with legal and contracts teams.
  • Review contract amendments to ensure accuracy and completeness prior to signature.
  • Prepare and submit complete compliance packages, including ETRs, FAIRs, SAP updates, and FRPJs.
  • Compile and send RFQ packages, including drawing distribution.
  • Process vendor master and material master changes and additions.
  • Pull and validate part demand and historical receipt data.
  • Upload required documentation into contract management tools.
  • Initiate SCE (should cost estimate) requests and support issue resolution in procurement portals.
  • Assist with content analysis and provide data insights for various projects.

Qualifications

  • US citizen or green card holder.
  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • Experience in sourcing, procurement, project management, or contract management.
  • Proficiency with SAP, ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, RFQ tools, project management tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
  • Strong negotiation skills, business acumen, and continuous learning mindset.
  • Financial analysis capability.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional certifications in project management, supply chain, procurement, or contract management.
