Talascend is currently seeking an Electrical Maintenance Supervisor for a direct hire opportunity with our client in Calvert, Alabama.

Overview

This role involves managing electrical maintenance activities for key production lines, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. The supervisor will lead a team, implement asset reliability processes, and coordinate improvement projects in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Responsibilities

  • Organize daily activities of your team with focus on safety, quality, and production KPI’s
  • Implement asset reliability process in your area
  • Coordinate and initiate improvement projects, including capital expenditures
  • Lead root cause failure analysis events, determine failure causes, and implement corrective actions
  • Set goals, review, and evaluate team and individual performances on a regular basis
  • Manage daily, monthly, and annual activities of each line
  • Monitor all electrical equipment performance in CPL, SLH, BA, and SS
  • Analyze key performance indicators to optimize performance in terms of working ratio, MTBF, and equipment availability
  • Demonstrate company values of safety, teamwork, accountability, relationships, and sustainability
  • Foster an environment of trust and respect, ensuring teamwork and collaboration
  • Ensure knowledge and compliance with ISO 14001, IATF 16949, and ISO 17025 standards

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in engineering, business, or similar
  • 5+ years of experience in electrical maintenance in an industrial environment or equivalent
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Technical understanding of electrical engineering basics, motor controls, PLCs, and drives
  • Leadership experience, capable of managing and developing direct reports
  • Ability to handle a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, Teams, Word, PowerPoint)
  • SAP experience preferred
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement processes and experience with asset reliability

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing or process environment
  • Experience managing improvement projects and capital expenditures
  • Knowledge of ISO standards and environment, quality, and laboratory management systems
