Talascend is currently seeking a Scheduler for a contract opportunity with our client in Chandler, Arizona.

Overview

This role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing integrated project schedules to support large-scale semiconductor fabrication projects. The individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met and schedules are aligned with project objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules in Primavera P6 (or equivalent), including scope definition, logic development, activity sequencing, and durations.
  • Lead coordination with engineering, procurement, construction, and subcontractor teams to ensure schedule alignment with project milestones and execution strategy.
  • Integrate subcontractor and vendor schedules into the overall project schedule, ensuring consistency and completeness.
  • Monitor schedule performance, productivity, and progress against baseline plans, identifying trends and deviations.
  • Perform schedule analysis, including critical path, float analysis, and schedule variance evaluation.
  • Conduct schedule impact and what-if analysis to assess potential risks and delays.
  • Collaborate with project teams to develop mitigation and recovery plans to address schedule risks.
  • Prepare and maintain short-term lookahead schedules (e.g., 3-week or rolling lookahead).
  • Prepare and present weekly and monthly schedule reports, progress updates, and analysis to project stakeholders.
  • Ensure schedule quality, logic integrity, and compliance with project controls procedures and standards.
  • Participate in schedule reviews, providing clear communication of schedule status, risks, and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or international equivalent)
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience
  • Industry experience in data center, semi-conductor fabrication, and technology projects
  • Demonstrated experience in schedule development, maintenance, and analysis across EPC project phases
  • Proficiency in Primavera P6 and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret data and identify risks and trends
  • Working knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction, and startup processes
  • Understanding of schedule integration and interface management across disciplines
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to changing project needs
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
