Talascend is currently seeking a Lead Qualification Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Lewisville, Texas.
Overview
We are looking for a Lead Qualification Specialist to support our sales organization by identifying, researching, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities for our outside sales team. The role involves managing a large volume of leads, ensuring timely follow-up, and conducting outbound prospecting activities to generate qualified opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Review, organize, and prioritize incoming leads
- Research prospects and verify contact information
- Identify buying signals and potential opportunities
- Maintain accurate CRM records
- Ensure leads receive timely follow-up
- Conduct outbound prospecting calls
- Identify and qualify decision-makers
- Schedule appointments for outside sales representatives
- Nurture and develop new opportunities
- Support pipeline growth for the sales team
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1+ years of experience in business development, inside sales, lead generation, or related roles
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Confident and professional phone presence
- Ability to research businesses, contacts, and market opportunities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Detail-oriented with accurate CRM data management
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems; Salesforce experience is a plus
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce, LinkedIn, Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel, and virtual communication tools
- Call center or outbound sales experience
- Experience researching prospects through various business resources
- Ability to handle rejection and persevere in outreach efforts
- Resourceful and eager to learn
This is a non-remote role based in Lewisville, Texas, with most weeks involving a hybrid schedule of in-office and work-from-home days.
