Talascend is currently seeking a Power BI Data Analyst for a remote, contract opportunity with our client.
Overview
This role supports the SEC Infrastructure Support Services 2 Program, focusing on discovering, realigning, and refreshing PowerBI efforts. The position involves collaboration with multiple teams to enhance dashboards, reporting, and metrics analysis, providing increased clarity and value for management.
Responsibilities
- Drive the discovery, realignment, and refresh of PowerBI efforts from previous contractors
- Work closely with Business Process Engineering and Knowledge Management teams to cleanup and develop dashboards and reports
- Assist Program Senior Leadership in validating existing and new metrics and reporting formats
- Participate in meetings, presentations, and reports related to the program's deliverables
- Support the transition into improved services delivery for SEC by optimizing PowerBI use
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 8+ years of PowerBI and relevant experience
- Experience analyzing, cleaning up, restructuring, and refreshing existing PowerBI data sources, reports, and dashboards
- Proven ability to work independently and with multiple teams under tight deadlines
- Experience preparing and delivering presentations to senior leadership and clients
- Strong background in metrics analysis, report development, and dashboard creation
- Extensive expertise in PowerBI report production
- Ability to train small teams in PowerBI report development
Preferred Qualifications
- SharePoint Administrator experience
