Quality Control Analyst

Talascend is currently seeking a Quality Control Analyst for a contract opportunity with our client in Blair, Nebraska.

Overview

The quality control analyst collects and analyzes samples, monitors process conditions, supports process adjustments, and provides analytical support across the organization. This role also operates, maintains, validates, and calibrates laboratory and in-line instruments while supporting quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Prioritize responsibilities and key accountabilities while on shift.
• Collect and analyze raw material, in-process, final product, and customer samples using analytical methods.
• Validate and approve raw material shipments.
• Monitor process conditions and variables using data historian tools.
• Contribute to process adjustment decisions and recommendations.
• Communicate and provide analytical support across all levels of the organization.
• Operate, maintain, validate, and calibrate benchtop and in-line instruments.
• Analyze, interpret, and report data using laboratory information management systems.
• Troubleshoot process upsets and manage resources to resolve them.
• Train new employees on quality assurance systems, analytical methods, and instruments.
• Uphold HACCP, ISO 9001/14001, and RC14001 principles in all aspects of the role.

• Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.

Shift

Schedule follows a 3-2-3 rotation with shifts running from 5:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., or 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
