Automotive Mechanic
Talascend is currently seeking an Automotive Mechanic for a contract opportunity located in White Sands Missile Range, NM.
OVERVIEW:
Performs scheduled and non-scheduled maintenance and repairs on military tracked and wheeled vehicles, including test and checkout of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic subsystems and complete systems. Operations can be located in-plant or at field locations away from primary company operations. Contractor will work on automotive vehicle maintenance for M2770A1.
Shift Schedule: 4/10A-1st Shift from 6am-4:30/4:45pm.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Looking for: Prior Maintenance experience, Teamwork, Mechanical Aptitude, and desire to develop.
- No bachelors degree required; HS diploma or GED acceptable.
- Automotive tech training a plus.
- Candidate would need to furnish steel-toed shoes; all other PPE provided on site, including protective eye wear.
