Seeking Business Analyst to join our Electrical and HVAC Engineering Department for a hybrid role (on-site and remote combination) located in Farmington Hills, MI.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Job Functions (include but are not limited to):
- Analyzing internal and external quality data and creating reports that help users quickly and effectively understand the information.
- Developing and maintaining analytic tools to support priority setting of quality activities. Providing general support within the group for data analysis, maintaining the SharePoint site, and organizing meetings.
- Support implementation and deployment of Digital Dashboards of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for R&D Functional and Regional quality goals.
- Create and Publish Monthly Quality Reports.
- Assist and provide guidance to report users with functionality, logic, and application.
- Effectively communicate issues identified from quality data analysis.
- Identify and propose improvements to existing reports and tools.
- Update reports to maintain alignment of quality objectives.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- 2 - 5 Years Demonstrated Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge and experience is required.
- Ability to identify, extract, and compile information from different data sources utilizing appropriate MS Excel or MS Access functions/tools such as IF, INDEX, MATCH, V/H-LOOKUP, pivot tables, and queries.
- Ability to utilize Tableau for Data Visualization.
- Strong analytical thinking with ability to understand and analyze quality data from multiple sources and explain results.
- Strong initiative, organization, planning, and time management skills.
- Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Python knowledge/experience is a plus.
- Automotive and/or Engineering experience a plus.
