Talascend is currently seeking a Sheet Metal Duct Superintendent for a contract to possible direct hire opportunity with our client located in Nashville, TN.
OVERVIEW:
We are currently seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent in the Nashville TN area to support large commercial projects. This individual must be an experienced Sheet metal leader who can work efficiently and independently.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 10-12 years' experience in HVAC Sheet Metal Duct Installation.
- Journeyman's license desirable but not required.
- Minimum of 5 years Management experience running construction crews of 15 to 25 men & managing jobs.
- Must be able to read blueprints and understand code.
- Must ensure quality control, assist with scheduling, maintain goals & ensure safety rules are being followed.
- Ability to plan well, do lay-outs and understand contractor drawing details, specs and submittals. Will work with purchasing to procure materials needed.
- Must produce project schedules, and coordinate tradesmen for each project Work closely with Project Managers and other team members
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
- Overtime may be necessary depending on jobs and schedules.
- Position may include, constant walking/standing, lifting/pulling, climbing ladders and outside work with weather conditions.
