Maintenance Tech
A Talascend client in the Odessa, TX area has an immediate need for a Maintenance Tech to maintain and repair all equipment and premises according to the maintenance plan to ensure the continuity of production in the manufacturing center.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensures the preventive maintenance and repair of plants and equipment according to the plan within maintenance and HSES procedures.
- Finds faults and identifies the best methods for rectification (direct repair or escalation) in a timely manner.
- Keeps records of maintenance operations, making reports, and proposing procedures improvement.
- Uses and maintains correct tooling and equipment and reports damages.
- Ensures knowledge of preventive maintenance of all tools.
- Anticipates & alerts their hierarchy of any incoherencies or incompatibilities between planning / progress / guidelines
- Small troubleshooting.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Professional education in the discipline (fitter in mechanical and / or instrumentation, or electrician).
- Capacity to make decisions autonomously, coaching more junior staff, and interacting with industrialization for procedure improvements.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in manufacturing environment.
- If electrician discipline, legal certification for electrical work.
