Talascend is seeking a Construction Manager for a contract to direct hire opportunity with a well-established company who believes in building a more sustainable future with a position based in Houston, TX.
M-F 8AM-5PM Fridays work remote.
The Construction Manager will assist and support the Operations group with management of complex projects. Critical tasks to include the planning, bidding, scheduling, and execution phases of the projects.

The Construction Manager will assist and support the Operations group with management of complex projects. Critical tasks to include the planning, bidding, scheduling, and execution phases of the projects.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Maintain project bidders list and prepare/assemble pre-bid documents.
- Lead/assist with bidders RFP’s (Requests for Proposals).
- Lead/assist with equipment RFP’s.
- Organize and maintain contracts and purchase orders.
- Maintain process for filing project documents (electronic versions).
- Communicate with site team to gather site specific information for designing plants or other large projects.
- Assist with weekly project calls and distributing meeting notes.
- Maintain equipment drawings and distribute to team.
- Help coordinate LFG upgrades in the well field for gas quality improvements.
- Lead/assist with RFI log and project issues list.
- Lead/assist with project commissioning activities.
- Lead/assist with project close out documents.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s Degree (accredited), or in lieu of, HS Diploma or GED (accredited) and 5 years relevant experience.
- Proficient in Procore and Primavera P6. Work with internal PMO with project scheduling and cost controls.
