Talascend is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Sr. Procurement Specialist position located in Tempe, AZ.
As a Senior Procurement Specialist , you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies for the ISC Government Compliance Procurement Integrity Team. In this role will support Government Procurement Teams to ensure compliance requirements are met in Commercial, FAR 12 and FAR 15 contracting actions.

As a Senior Procurement Specialist , you will play a critical role in developing and executing sourcing strategies for the ISC Government Compliance Procurement Integrity Team. In this role will support Government Procurement Teams to ensure compliance requirements are met in Commercial, FAR 12 and FAR 15 contracting actions.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Providing guidance and direction to procurement professionals in support of procurement actions by referencing the FAR, DFARS and company policies and procedures.
- Auditing purchase order file documentation in SAP in accordance with (IAW) the FAR 15 Government Purchasing Manual (GPM).
- Providing guidance and direction to procurement professionals in support of procurement actions by referencing the FAR, DFARS and company policies and procedures.
- Assisting with developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations.
- Interface with Procurement management and staff to assist in ensuring compliance to company policy and CPSR (Certified Purchasing System Review) requirements.
- Collaborate to identify and standardize discrepancies in the auditing process to ensure uniformity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
- 2+ years of experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Accounting, Financial Analysis and/or Pricing Analysis.
- 2+ years experience with Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to read, write and speak English.
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience interpreting FAR and DFARS, local and state law and regulations, and applicable international requirements.
- Experience with SAP or site relevant ERP systems, AeroCMS and the Enhanced Procurement and Compliance Tool.
