Production Associate
Talascend is currently seeking a Production Associate for a contract opportunity located in Phoenix, AZ.
Work shift (days/times) - Third shift - 10:00 pm - 6:30 am, Sunday through Thursday. Need to be able to train on 1st or 2nd shift for at least two weeks.
Overview:
The Production Associate performs diverse tasks supporting product development and manufacturing, including manufacturing, assembly, testing, reporting, packaging, and shipping of products with limited supervision.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Follows work procedures, schematics, or verbal instructions with limited supervision.
- Maintains accurate records of work performed.
- Performs manufacturing/assembly operations on multiple product lines.
- Participates in quality control inspections and suggests improvements for EHS and Quality practices.
- Collaborates with team members and management to enhance quality and process efficiency.
- Provides manufacturing support for new products, methods, and tools.
- Conducts equipment setup, quality checks, and data recording.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Prior Medical Device Experience; including, Microchips and Semi-Conductors
- Prior experience in a controlled environment (Clean Room).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Ability to handle small, delicate parts (lamination, probes, components, transducers, bonding layers, utilizing epoxy)
- Ability to comfortably use chemicals such as IPA (Acetone & Epoxies)
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- 5 + years of manufacturing experience.
- Experience in test document creation and review.
- Knowledge of semiconductor crafting and safety standards testing.
- Experience in electronic assembly, soldering, metal fabrication
- Machining experience such as Dicing or Grinding
- Must be able to physically lift and carry (floor to wait, waist to crown level, and horizontally) up to 35lbs.
- Must be able to physically perform simple grasping, firm grasping, fine manipulation, neck rotation, and neck flexion frequently.
- Must be able to physically twist, push/pull, reach at or above shoulder height, reach below should height occasionally throughout the day.
- Must be able to physically stoop, bend squat, and balance rarely throughout the day.
