Talascend is currently seeking a Production Planner / GEPICS Coordinator for a contract opportunity with our client in Bowling Green, Kentucky.

Overview

The role involves controlling order flow into the plant, supporting problem-solving coordination, and managing broadcast codes for production builds and engineering work orders. The coordinator will interact with various teams to ensure proper setup and functionality of production systems.

Responsibilities

  • Control order flow into the plant
  • Support and coordination of problem solving
  • Create, monitor, modify, or delete broadcast codes for manifest/broadcast changes per production build and engineering work orders
  • Run search and find request screens per production, broadcast changes, and containment issues
  • Set up and maintain profiles and formats for build documents, run sheets, manifests
  • Maintain AAS tables that facilitate information interaction with other production systems in the plant
  • Coordinate and maintain printer and equipment functionality with maintenance and IT team
  • Work with central office to correct errors in non-broadcast parts
  • Monitor and update communication interruption contingency plan with nearby sequencers/suppliers
  • Respond to production department requests and problems
  • Troubleshoot pick station tablets and TVs
  • Coordinate production trial runs on parts that are changing manufacturing locations
  • Interact with electrical engineering team on software changes to ensure vehicles are set up properly and part level match per intent

Qualifications

  • College graduates are required
  • Technical school graduates are acceptable
  • No years of experience is required

Requirements

  • IT background
  • Manufacturing experience is ideal
  • Computer literate and knowledgeable with Microsoft Office and Excel
  • Ability to operate independently and solve problems
  • Team-oriented with good interaction skills
  • Training period of 3 to 4 weeks for learning EPICS and related systems

Shift

2nd Shift: 2:30 PM to 11:30 PM
