Facility Manager

Talascend is currently seeking a Facility Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Sugar Land, Texas.

Overview

The role involves managing daily facility management services, coordinating maintenance and repair of customer facilities, and ensuring client satisfaction with the delivery of services.

Responsibilities

• Single point of contact for daily FM services.
• Matrix-manage the technical, administrative and delivery staff of customer sites.
• Collaboration with provider management on opportunities to define scope and coordinate supplier walk-throughs.
• Manage all assigned facilities to monitor SLAs and identify any potential challenges.
• Manage the corrective/reactive work orders and monitor work orders to completion.
• Develop customer relationships with key representatives.
• Work closely with customer to track hours and obtain approval for NTE work.
• Conduct quarterly account review.
• Seek to continuously improve processes, systems and overall customer satisfaction.
• Assist with budgetary requests, analysis and reporting.
• Manage subcontractors and suppliers to deliver goods and services.
• Assist with the coordination and scheduling of maintenance activities.
• Provide direction/information to vendors and facilities staff.
• Assist with receiving and dispatching of work requests.
• Effectively work with contractors to ensure timely service and quality of work standards.
• Collaborate with contractor network to obtain bids for landscape services.
• Compile and analyze estimates to ensure accuracy and cost effectiveness.
• Create and establish extra revenue goals for respective network.
• Work with internal groups to communicate customer requirements.
• Work with client and service provider personnel to set up systems and provide training.
• Accurately complete all pertinent paperwork.
• Coordinate facility management and small project tasks as directed.
• Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of facility management services.
• Provide support for meetings and conferencing.
• Import best practices in the interest of exceeding client goals.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Experience in facility management or related field.

Requirements

• Ability to manage multiple sites.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in managing subcontractors and suppliers.
• Ability to analyze and report on budgetary requests.

Preferred Requirements

• Knowledge of facility management best practices.
• Experience with customer relationship management.

Shift

Participating in afterhours call rotation for dispatching and following up on afterhours emergencies.
