Talascend is currently seeking a Formwork Field Technician for a contract opportunity located in Sugar Land TX.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide on-site support and training for formwork systems and installation techniques.
- Review and assist with design, layout, and construction drawings related to formwork.
- Conduct frequent site visits to assess system use, safety compliance, and maintenance.
- Troubleshoot complex problems and provide constructability feedback to engineering teams.
- Evaluate new innovations in formwork and assist with testing and development.
- Collaborate with estimating teams and provide input on equipment scope and methodology.
- Champion Bechtel’s safety and quality standards at all times.
- Bachelor's degree and 5–8 years of experience OR 9–12 years of directly relevant work experience.
- Strong technical knowledge of structural construction, formwork, and shoring systems.
- Experience with formwork layout, concrete work, and related field activities.
- Demonstrated commitment to zero-accident safety programs.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical documents.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in civil construction on major projects (infrastructure, nuclear, energy, etc.).
- Roadway construction, slip-form paving, or mass grading experience.
- Familiarity with post-tensioning systems and embed installation within tight tolerances.
- Membership in ASBI, ACI, SAIA, or PTI is a plus.
- Supervisory or team lead experience in formwork operations.
- Marine, piling, or soil stabilization experience is desirable.
