Talascend is currently seeking a Field Lead for a contract opportunity with our client in Hackett, Arkansas.

Overview

The role involves overseeing field installation crews and projects, training and mentoring field staff, and managing personnel on job sites while being actively involved in labor.

Responsibilities

  • Communication with the FISG Manager, Engineering and Project Management teams to ensure that the project installation is done correctly.
  • Read and understand field installation prints and documents.
  • Acting as the main point of communication between the main field and the office.
  • Managing all field personnel on installation site.
  • Providing leadership to on-site staff, sub-contractors, and other parties.
  • Investigating and resolving customer complaints.
  • Ensuring that safety policies are strictly adhered to.
  • Reviewing project progress to ensure that deadlines are met.
  • Laying out all equipment for installation.
  • Checking equipment to ensure it matches the prints.
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
  • Keeping track of all tools on the job site.
  • Ensuring the team works safely and follows all company rules and guidelines.
  • Communicate back to the Project Manager status report every day on how project is going.
  • Communication with customers and effectively resolve any customer complaints in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • Technical school or training preferred.
  • Construction Experience: 1 year (Preferred)

Requirements

  • 21 plus years of age.
  • Able to pass a background check.
  • Clean driving record and valid US drivers’ license.
  • Proven experience in leading field operations.
  • Be willing to travel.
  • Knowledge of Conveyor and industrial machinery.
  • Strong trouble shooting and mechanical skill set.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel).
  • The ability to work in different environmental conditions.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent team builder.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Shift

10 hour shift with flexibility; weekend work as well.
