Project Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Salinas, California.
Overview
This role requires exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders, manage expectations, and keep projects moving smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact between clients, contractors, vendors, and internal teams
- Lead coordination meetings and regular check-ins to ensure all stakeholders are aligned on project goals, timelines, and deliverables
- Translate technical requirements into clear action items for installation teams and subcontractors
- Facilitate open, timely, and professional communication throughout all phases of the project
- Monitor project progress and proactively address issues, conflicts, or delays
- Ensure that all project activities support client expectations, contract scope, and safety standards
- Support the preparation and review of project schedules, documentation, and change orders
- Maintain comprehensive project records including daily reports, meeting notes, and status updates
- Promote a positive, solutions-oriented atmosphere across teams and on-site personnel
- Support on-site coordination efforts as needed to ensure safe and efficient conveyor installation
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of experience in project coordination or management, preferably in warehouse or industrial settings
- Preferred: OSHA 30 certification or a strong understanding of job site safety protocols
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills with the ability to work across diverse teams
- Clear and effective communicator—both written and verbal
- Familiarity with conveyor systems, material handling, or warehouse infrastructure (preferred)
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools
Shift
May require flexible hours, including evenings or weekends, based on project needs.
