Testing Technician
Talascend is currently seeking a Testing Technician for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
The role involves performing standard testing processes on a variety of equipment, recording and analyzing results, and recommending changes in testing methods or equipment.
Responsibilities
- Operate assigned equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement activities.
- Support the operating system.
- Maintain work area for operation and cleanliness.
- Comply with all safety rules.
- Record and report production data.
- Analyze data and production reports.
- Set up and change over equipment.
- Use measuring and diagnostic tools.
Qualifications
- Associate's degree and 4-6 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
Requirements
- Knowledge of industry specific tests and testing equipment.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Works under general supervision.
- A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
Shift
2nd shift: 3pm to 11pm (flexible on some days from Noon to 3pm on start)
