Talascend is currently seeking a Network Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Washington, District Of Columbia.

Overview

This role provides overall network engineering support for a broad range of programs, including planning, designing, and evaluating various components of the network.

Responsibilities

  • Manage daily operations and assist information managers with all matters related to local and wide area networks.
  • Provide diagnostic support using network analysis tools.
  • Ensure project schedules and performance requirements are met.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • 2+ years experience in a broad range of assignments in technical tasks directly related to the proposed area of responsibility.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of assigned product(s), company functions, service policies and procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to handle seldom occurring job events.
  • May determine methods and procedures on new assignments.
