Talascend is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer with a leading automotive manufacturer located in Wentzville, Missouri.

The main function of a manufacturing process engineer is to direct the development and/or improvements of manufacturing processes and equipment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee and maintain Fanuc robotics systems.
- Responsible for approximately 100 robots within the department.
- Manage and support a team of 5–10 employees.
- Responsible for pretreatment and chemistry processes within the paint department. Ensure adherence to safety, quality, and environmental standards.
- Propose and evaluate manufacturing process and equipment for assigned areas.
- Meet plant goals and standards in safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
- Coordinate the effective use of personnel, materials, and equipment in supporting SPQRC initiatives.
- Evaluate expenditures for processes and/or equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and training for assigned plant operations.
- Works closely with production and maintenance personnel and suppliers to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Analyze tooling and equipment and select proper steps for solution.
- Communicate with internal and external business units.
- Support plants in achieving Safety, People, Quality, Responsiveness and Cost goals.
- Support and implement the QS9000/ISO14001/(GMS) Global Manufacturing System compliance processes.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or related discipline.
- 0-2 years of experience required.
- Strong background in paint processes, pretreatment, and chemical applications.
- Experience with Fanuc robotics and automation systems.
- Expert knowledge of manufacturing and assembly processes.
- Basic knowledge of tooling processes.
- Basic knowledge of automotive industry processes.
- Knowledge in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to partner with senior management to analyze and solve issues.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Need to be flexible working all 3 shifts!
