Talascend is currently seeking a Senior Data Center Program Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Metropolis, Illinois.

Overview

In this role, you will impact the efficiency and effectiveness of our data center operations, enhancing our ability to deliver high-quality services and solutions to our clients while optimizing resource utilization and minimizing risks.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage data center programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Monitor and report on program progress, identifying and mitigating risks and issues as they arise.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in construction and/or data center management or related roles.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in managing data center programs or projects.
  • Strong knowledge of data center operations, infrastructure, and best practices.
  • Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
  • Proficiency in data center technologies and platforms, including virtualization, cloud computing, and networking.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • PMP Certification.
  • Worker will utilize SAP Fieldglass for weekly time reporting.
