Senior Project Manager – Combined Cycle Power Project
The Senior Project Manager will lead the execution of a large-scale Combined Cycle power generation project from engineering through commissioning and handover. This role is responsible for overall project delivery including safety, scope, schedule, cost, quality, and client satisfaction within an EPC environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide full lifecycle project leadership from detailed engineering through procurement, construction, and startup.
- Oversee multidisciplinary teams including engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and project controls.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, technical specifications, and regulatory standards.
- Manage project budget, schedule, risk, and change control processes.
- Serve as primary interface with client stakeholders, joint venture partners, and executive leadership.
- Drive safety culture and ensure adherence to all HSE standards.
- Lead forecasting, reporting, and executive-level communications.
- Experience with islanded microgrids preferred
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required. PE strongly preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in large-scale power generation projects, with direct Combined Cycle experience.
- Strong EPC background with proven success delivering projects >$500M.
- Demonstrated expertise in contract management, project controls, and risk mitigation.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
