General Laborer
Talascend is currently seeking a General Laborer for an opportunity in Livonia, Michigan.
OVERVIEW
The general laborer will perform a variety of unskilled or semi-skilled tasks, supporting team members and ensuring safety during work tasks.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform manual labor tasks and support team members during jobs.
- Identify any hazards as observed for safety of personnel and equipment.
- Communicate issues with leadership.
- Perform shop clean-up and other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience operating a hi-lo.
- Valid drivers license.
- 1 year of experience working in a shop environment or equivalent military experience.
- Experience packing and shipping parts.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Dependable and has good attendance.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to use hand-held power tools (hand saws, drills, grinders, etc.)
- Knowledge of hand tools preferred
