Talascend is currently seeking a Washing Machine Operator for a contract opportunity with our client in Parsippany, New Jersey.

Overview

The washing machine operator will be responsible for performing various manufacturing and quality control tasks related to the operation of washing machines, ensuring safety and efficiency standards are met.

Responsibilities

  • Blowing all holes in buckets and nozzles to clear the residue inside
  • Loading and washing all blown parts in the part washer
  • Filling out all BOT related to each part and each work order
  • Maintaining tools and measuring instruments supplied by the company
  • Maintaining company production and quality standards
  • Reporting unusual problems or conditions to the supervisor
  • Observing company safety rules and regulations
  • Performing, as assigned, other similar or related duties

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Ability to lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work overtime and occasional weekend shifts
  • Willingness to wear personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, gloves, ear plugs, and safety shoes
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screen
  • This role requires use of technical data subject to U.S. government export restrictions, and is only for U.S. persons (U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, and protected individuals). Proof of status will be required prior to employment
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
