Talascend is currently seeking an IT Recruiting Specialist for an opportunity in Princeton, New Jersey.

Overview

The role involves supporting the delivery of IT talent by managing full-cycle recruiting processes for clients in regulated industries, ensuring the timely placement of qualified candidates while maintaining a high-quality candidate experience.

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruiting for IT roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer coordination
  • Partner with account leadership to understand client requirements, technical skill needs, and hiring priorities
  • Proactively build and maintain strong pipelines of IT talent across areas such as software development, cybersecurity, cloud, data, and infrastructure
  • Independently manage interview coordination and drive scheduling efficiency while serving as the primary point of contact for candidates
  • Deliver a high-quality candidate experience through timely communication and proactive engagement
  • Collaborate across talent acquisition, contracting agencies, and internal teams for staffing needs
  • Track recruiting activity and candidate progress using applicant tracking systems (ATS) and vendor management systems (VMS)
  • Support onboarding processes, including background checks and compliance requirements
  • Proactively communicate recruiting progress, pipeline health, and risks, resolving challenges to keep delivery on track
  • Take ownership of requisition delivery, ensuring timely submission of high-quality candidates aligned to client expectations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, human resources, information technology, computer science, or related field; additional experience may be considered in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years of experience in recruiting, staffing, or talent acquisition
  • Experience recruiting for IT or technical roles
  • Proven ability to operate as a self-starter in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to shifting deadlines
  • Demonstrated sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership in meeting recruiting and delivery goals
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage candidates and stakeholders effectively
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed recruiting delivery expectations in a performance-driven environment
