Learning & Development Project Manager
Talascend is currently seeking a Learning & Development Project Manager located in Houston, Texas.
Overview
The learning & development project manager will support the execution of learning initiatives, coordinate stakeholder and vendor activities, oversee program logistics, and analyze program effectiveness to ensure successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Translate strategic learning plans into actionable project plans.
- Manage end-to-end execution of learning & development initiatives, including scheduling, budgeting, resource allocation, and delivery coordination using Monday.com.
- Track progress, mitigate risks, and adjust plans to ensure successful outcomes.
- Serve as the operational point of contact between stakeholders, instructional designers, facilitators, and vendors.
- Ensure all parties are aligned on deliverables, timelines, and expectations.
- Provide regular status updates and proactively flag issues to leadership.
- Oversee logistics for virtual and in-person learning events, including communications, enrollment, materials, and venue/technology arrangements.
- Coordinate with LMS administrators and technology teams to ensure smooth learning delivery.
- Support defining success metrics, capturing data, and measuring program effectiveness.
- Gather participant feedback and recommend process improvements for future projects.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
- 3-5 years of project management experience, ideally within corporate learning & development or HR.
- Familiarity with learning technologies (LMS, virtual platforms) and adult learning principles.
- Project management certification (PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred.
- Learning and development experience required.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
