Owner-Furnished Equipment Coordinator / Procurement Coordinator

Talascend is currently seeking an Owner-Furnished Equipment Coordinator / Procurement Coordinator for a contract opportunity located in Austin, tX.

Overview:

Serve as the single point of contact (SPOC) and owner’s representative for all Owner-Furnished Equipment (OFE) and Long-Lead Equipment (LLE) lifecycle activities supporting the San Antonio data center campus. This role bridges the gap between supply chain management, data center engineering, site project managers, and the General Contractor (GC) to ensure seamless procurement, factory testing, delivery tracking, and risk mitigation. 

Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary interface with the Supply Chain Management (SCM) team to ensure the timely and accurate issuance of Purchase Orders (POs) for all OFE and LLE requirements. 
• Foster transparent, timely, and high-functioning working relationships with SCM teams to align procurement pipelines with site-level execution dates. 
• Own vendor and supplier relationship management for OFE suppliers, serving as the first line of escalation for commercial, technical, or logistical friction points. 
• Develop, maintain, and own the OFE Delivery Tracking Matrix, serving as the single "source of truth" for all equipment delivery dates from suppliers. 
• Manage site-specific LLE Trackers, regularly updating critical milestone dates by auditing schedule logic and collaborating with the Project Controls and Finance teams. 
• Manage specific administrative and financial aspects of the OFE lifecycle, including cashflow tracking, submittal reviews, and LLE Pre-Purchase Specifications. 
• Liaise directly with the project Owner’s Representatives Project Managers (ORPM) to ensure they are fully aligned on equipment delivery sequences, logistical timelines, and potential schedule risks. 
• Partner with Project Managers to map and understand equipment dependencies required to meet the planned construction sequence. 
• Collaborate with the project scheduler to vet schedule logic, ensuring that factory-to-site timelines are realistic and accurately integrated into the master project schedule. 
• Work collaboratively with the General Contractor (GC) to proactively identify, track, and mitigate logistical risks, site scope gaps, or potential delivery delays. 
• Identify opportunities for schedule acceleration or optimization based on changing factory lead times and shifting GC site readiness constraints. 
• Manage day-to-day OFE operational constraints, including resolving issues related to factory quality deviations, delivery logistics, transport delays, and site receiving schedules. 
• Coordinate with Data Center Engineering (DCE), Commissioning (Cx) teams, the GC, and ORPM to schedule and execute Factory Witness Testing (FWT) protocols as required by the owner's team. 
• Conduct personal, on-site FWT attendance and execute periodic QA/QC progress visits to vendor manufacturing facilities to audit production health and verify build quality.
