Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Torrance, California.

Overview

We are looking for sourcing specialists with experience in negotiations and a business mindset to execute our key KPIs. The role involves working on a team focused on the execution and maintenance of our global supply base, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in our supplier contract management systems.

Responsibilities

  • Manage commodity sourcing and negotiate supplier terms
  • Draft, sign, and upload NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) to systems
  • Create, complete, and submit compliance packages including ETRs, FAIRS, supplier scorecards, and SAP updates
  • Review amendments prior to signature to ensure fidelity
  • Prepare and submit FRPJ (Fair and Reasonable Price Justification) packages
  • Pull and send RFQ packages, including drawings
  • Perform vendor master and material master changes and validation
  • Pull and validate part demand and historical receipts
  • Upload documents to contract management tools
  • Initiate Should Cost Estimates (SCE) requests
  • Pull platform details from designated systems and handle PO/supplier portal issues
  • Resolve issues and submit corrections in contract management tools
  • Support and analyze CID and BAA content

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of supply chain experience
  • Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in negotiations and sourcing

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in procurement, project management, or contract management
  • Professional certifications in project, supply chain, procurement, or contract management
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen
  • Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools
