Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist
Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Sourcing Specialist for a contract opportunity with our client in Torrance, California.
Overview
We are looking for sourcing specialists with experience in negotiations and a business mindset to execute our key KPIs. The role involves working on a team focused on the execution and maintenance of our global supply base, supporting strategic sourcing initiatives, and ensuring compliance and accuracy in our supplier contract management systems.
Responsibilities
- Manage commodity sourcing and negotiate supplier terms
- Draft, sign, and upload NDA (Non-Disclosure Agreements) to systems
- Create, complete, and submit compliance packages including ETRs, FAIRS, supplier scorecards, and SAP updates
- Review amendments prior to signature to ensure fidelity
- Prepare and submit FRPJ (Fair and Reasonable Price Justification) packages
- Pull and send RFQ packages, including drawings
- Perform vendor master and material master changes and validation
- Pull and validate part demand and historical receipts
- Upload documents to contract management tools
- Initiate Should Cost Estimates (SCE) requests
- Pull platform details from designated systems and handle PO/supplier portal issues
- Resolve issues and submit corrections in contract management tools
- Support and analyze CID and BAA content
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of supply chain experience
- Proficient in SAP and Microsoft Office
- Experience in negotiations and sourcing
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in procurement, project management, or contract management
- Professional certifications in project, supply chain, procurement, or contract management
- Demonstrated business and financial acumen
- Experience with Six Sigma and Lean tools
