Automotive Service Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an Automotive Service Technician for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Troy, Michigan.
Overview
This role involves performing diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs, including vehicle diagnostics, parts replacement, inspections, and using OEM systems for software flashing and service procedures. Technicians will also move vehicles in and out of the building as needed.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs
- Diagnose problems with vehicle systems
- Replace or repair faulty parts
- Inspect various parts and systems for issues
- Utilize OEM systems for software flashing, labor guides, and service procedures
- Move vehicles in and out of the building as required
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of diagnostic, mechanical, and technical experience
- Intermediate-Advanced tool set required
- Some computer experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to high level of physical activity. Lifting requirements of 5 – 75 lbs.
