Automotive Technician
Talascend is currently seeking an Automotive Technician for a contract to hire opportunity with our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Overview
The role involves performing diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs, including diagnosing problems, replacing faulty parts, inspecting systems, and utilizing OEM systems for various service procedures.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic and mechanical repairs to support customer programs
- Diagnose problems and replace or repair faulty parts
- Inspect various parts and systems for problems
- Utilize OEM systems for software flashing, labor guides, and service procedures
- Move vehicles in and out of the building as required
Qualifications
- 2-4 years of diagnostic, mechanical, and technical experience
- Intermediate to advanced tool set required
- Some computer experience preferred
- Valid driver’s license
Physical Requirements
Requires moderate to high level of physical activity with lifting requirements of 5 – 75 lbs.
