Customer Service Representative
Talascend is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative for a contract opportunity with our client in Auburn Hills, Michigan.
Overview
This role involves providing high-quality customer service support within a large facility, managing incoming requests, and assisting with administrative and facilities-related tasks. It offers a visible position with interaction across all organizational levels and potential for internal growth.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming service requests such as temperature, maintenance, and restroom issues
- Maintain accurate logs for tracking and follow-up
- Support vendor coordination and open order tracking
- Assist with administrative and facilities-related tasks during slower periods
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred (engineering, finance, environmental, construction, etc.)
- Candidates actively working toward their degree or recent grads are encouraged to apply
- Strong customer service experience (retail, restaurant, call center, etc.)
- Professional, polished communication skills with critical phone presence
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfort interacting with a wide range of individuals from frontline to leadership
- Strong attention to detail and ability to quickly learn systems and processes
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
