Financial Analyst - Korean/English Bilingual
Talascend is currently seeking a Financial Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas.
Overview
The position involves analyzing financial data, preparing forecasts, managing month-end close activities, and supporting budgeting and inter-company transactions to assist in financial decision-making and process improvement.
Responsibilities
- Perform 3-9 month business forecasts, including sales quantities, wholesale prices, COGS, and overhead expenses
- Manage month-end closing using SAP Controlling (CO) module and monitor revenue, COGS recognition, and expense allocation
- Prepare and deliver various financial reports to management
- Coordinate monthly inter-company transaction activities and follow-up requests to maintain proper margins
- Support other finance or administrative projects such as royalty calculations and litigation-related financial data
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, accounting, or related field
- 1+ year of applicable financial or accounting experience
- MUST be bilingual in Korean and English
- Strong business acumen with understanding of commercial terms, impacts, and risks across business units
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work across departments
- Proficiency with Excel; SAP or other ERP systems experience is a plus
