Electronics Testing Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking an Electronics Testing Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Phoenix, Arizona.
Overview
This role involves supporting high visibility electronic hardware testing projects, including DO-160 qualification testing, validation, and verification of avionics products. The engineer will contribute to regulatory compliance, product certification, and documentation efforts.
Responsibilities
- Plan and execute environmental and EMI qualification tests on avionics products
- Prepare test reports for regulatory compliance
- Assist in product certification for customer and regulatory acceptance
- Communicate non-compliance incidents to pertinent parties
- Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering
- 6+ years experience in hardware/product engineering
- Experience in environmental and/or EMI testing for avionics product qualification
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
