Manufacturing Process Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer for a contract opportunity with our client in Clearwater, Florida.
Overview
This role involves designing and optimizing manufacturing processes within an industrial plant, focusing on maximizing efficiency and supporting product quality. The engineer will plan layouts, analyze workflows, and determine needed parts and tools to meet manufacturing goals.
Responsibilities
- Design and plan manufacturing processes in industrial settings.
- Analyze equipment layout, workflow, assembly methods, and workforce utilization to maximize efficiency.
- Determine parts and tools required to meet product specifications and manufacturing goals.
- Collaborate with departments to troubleshoot production issues and improve processes.
- Develop and write manufacturing work instructions.
- Implement process changes to improve product quality and efficiency.
- Communicate effectively across different departments within the manufacturing facility.
- Ensure compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, requiring the candidate to be a U.S. person.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in manufacturing support or environment, with a preferred range of 3-5 years.
- Knowledge of manufacturing concepts, practices, and procedures.
- Experience creating manufacturing work instructions.
- Ability to analyze and troubleshoot production processes.
- Excellent communication skills across departments.
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
- U.S. citizenship, permanent residency, protected status, or ability to obtain export authorization.
