Cost Engineer
Talascend is currently seeking a Cost Engineer for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Chandler, Arizona.
This role involves supporting cost engineering and control activities for high-demand projects, with responsibilities ranging from preparing monthly cost reports to performing detailed cost analysis and providing innovative solutions to cost challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of cost monitoring and control standards, techniques, systems, and reports.
- Assist in developing and assigning specific project cost accounts and recommend appropriate modifications and revisions.
- Prepare and coordinate the support for monthly invoices, reconcile project billings, and ensure accurate coding.
- Coordinate the development and accuracy of project cost reports and verify data consistency.
- Perform performance monitoring and control functions for specific applications, ensuring procedural compliance.
- Prepare specific budgets and assist with their allocation according to standards and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree completed.
- 5-8 years of relevant experience or 9-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Demonstrated skill in analyzing data-driven problems and providing solutions.
- Knowledge of financial reporting systems (CFAR), controller account codes, cost management system (EcoSys), and digital supply chain system (DSCS).
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Flexibility to respond to urgent project requests and changing priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in data centers and/or semiconductors industries.
