Talascend is currently seeking a Associate Project Manager for a contract opportunity with our client in Austin, Texas.
Overview
This role involves supporting facilities management through data collection, report preparation, field work, and CAD updates. The candidate will work closely with the space management and projects teams, primarily supporting facilities-related projects.
Responsibilities
- Collect and analyze facility-related data, including field measurements and progress photos
- Prepare reports and presentations, primarily using PowerPoint
- Update master CAD files using AutoCAD and perform quantity take-offs with AutoCAD viewer
- Support project coordination by assisting with project plans, proposals, and client communications
- Collaborate with teams to validate seating plans and update facility layouts
- Support the head of facilities and wider management teams as needed
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field
- 2-4 years of relevant experience, with CAD knowledge (2+ years preferred)
- Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail
- Problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills
- Experience with JCI Open Blue is a plus but not required
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education
Preferred Qualifications
- AutoCAD certification or experience in AutoCAD updates and quantity take-offs
- PMP or PMI certification (preferred)
