Talascend is currently seeking a Warehouse Associate for a contract opportunity with our client in Olathe, Kansas.
Overview
This role involves handling warehouse operations including picking, packing, stocking, inventory management, and creating sales orders to support production and maintain safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and stock materials and inventory accurately
- Perform cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy
- Create and process sales orders in SAP
- Stage and deliver materials to production areas in a timely manner
- Maintain organized and safe work environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in inventory, warehouse, or a related field
- Experience working with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred
- Basic knowledge of standard warehouse practices and procedures
- Ability to follow established processes and work instructions
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift 10-15 lbs. with minimal repetition
- Minimal exposure to machinery, chemicals, and other workplace hazards
