Talascend is currently seeking a Supply Chain Analyst for a long-term contract opportunity with our client in Plano, Texas.
Overview
The supply chain analyst is responsible for coordinating and expediting the flow of work and materials within or between departments to meet production schedules. They review schedules, monitor inventory levels, and generate reports to support supply chain efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Review weekly purchase order SKU lists and communicate with account teams for feedback
- Monitor production schedules and manage inbound statuses for both finished goods and bulk shipments
- Coordinate with packaging planning teams to align weekly quantities with production schedules
- Work closely with planning teams to meet weekly/monthly sales in goals
- Track and manage monthly depletion processes, monitor inventory status, and manage aged or unavailable inventory
- Update weekly status reports on setbacks and distribute to headquarters
- Provide weekly updates on supply status and support weekly supply chain meetings
- Publish reports, assist with projects, and perform ad-hoc analyses as needed
- Support new product launch planning and AI-related projects
- Collaborate with team members and provide backup when necessary
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business, data science, supply chain, or related field preferred
- 0-3 years of experience
- Must be bilingual in English/Korean
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to work independently or in a team to achieve goals
- Demonstrated ability to perform the duties of this position through relevant experience, training, or education.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with supply chain or logistics operations.
- Knowledge of shipping laws and regulations.
- Experience with project support and data analysis.
