Talascend is currently seeking a Supplier Quality Reviewer for a contract opportunity with our client in Livonia, Michigan.
This role involves reviewing supplier submission packages and supporting the advanced supplier quality team to ensure compliance with program, engineering, and customer requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Review supplier PPAP, FAI, and customer-specific submission packages against program, engineering, and purchase order requirements.
- Identify missing or nonconforming documentation and follow up with suppliers or internal leads for corrections.
- Coordinate technical questions and escalations with ASQEs and engineering teams.
- Upload approved documentation and maintain submission tracking logs and status updates.
- Support timely approvals and part releases to meet program build dates.
Qualifications:
- Three years of related manufacturing quality experience
- Related quality experience must include functions other than inspection
- Recent quality experience in automotive manufacturing or a similar industry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to evaluate dimensional results and material certifications
- Basic engineering, drawing interpretation, and GD&T knowledge
- Basic understanding of ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 quality systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe applications
- Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Proficient oral and written communication in English
