Talascend is currently seeking a Tooling Engineer for a contract opportunity in Indianapolis, IN
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Act as primary point of contact for tooling and fixturing projects, both internally and externally
* Manage multiple deliverables simultaneously
* Utilize knowledge of manufacturing processes such as milling, turning, grinding and EDM to determine method of manufacture for tools
* Provide detailed feedback on tooling and fixturing designs, assisting in the design process as necessary
* Apply strong understanding of GD&T to set blueprint requirements and ensure final the product meets those requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
* CAD / CAM
* Tool design
* Machining experience (milling, turning, grinding, EDM)
* GD&T
* Project Management
