Talascend is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant for a contract opportunity in San Diego, CA.

OVERVIEW: 

The Administrative Assistant will provide pro-active, confidential administrative support function at an advanced level for Program Management, executive staff and other departments as necessary and requiring knowledge of company structure, technical terminology, policies and procedures.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: 
  • Managing calendaring, meeting coordination, complex domestic (and some international) travel.
  • Word processing, timely completion of expense reports, and handling of special projects.
  • Anticipates, prepares and organizes materials needed for conferences, correspondence, appointments, meetings, telephone calls, special events, corporate functions, etc.
  • The candidate will independently interface with both internal and external high-profile contacts and must ensure confidential handling of information and use sound judgment to independently complete a range of special projects.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 
  • Takes initiative, is discreet, acts with diplomacy, maintains a professional attitude and make decisions within corporate/department guidelines.
  • Maintains accuracy, consistency and quality in a fast-paced, multi-task environment and is flexible in changing daily workload priorities as directed.
  • Demonstrates excellent judgment in handling confidential, employee and business-related or sensitive information.
  • Ability to work independently, multi-task, set priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Prefer Associates or bachelor’s degree.
  • 5+ years of corporate executive level administrative experience required.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office products Word, Excel and Power Point, Microsoft Outlook and computer software related to specific tasks.

Pay range is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
